If you are not entirely familiar with Maschine Studio it is a top-quality production workstation that is suitable for both music production and performance. Native Instruments Maschine 2.6 update
Native Instruments has also released a Maschine software update - version 2.6. The features are set to improve your workflow. Here’s a quick highlight of the new functions you can expect from the update:
- MIDI CC Macro (applies to all controllers) - can be used to control external hardware.
- Lock Mode (applies to Studio and MK controllers) - allows for up to 64 snapshots to be captured.
- Note editing (applies to Jam only) - allows for the modifying of note events.
- Step modulation (applies to Jam only) - allows for the application of per step modulation to note sequences.
- Pattern copy (applies to Jam only) - duplicates patterns amid groups
- Matrix Velocity Selection (applies to Jam only) - provides 16 velocity levels
- Variation Mode (applies to all 4x4 controllers) - randomise or improve variations for patterns
- Default scale (applies to all 4x4 controllers) - continuous scale selection for sound
