Engine DJ version 2.2 Brings New Active Loop Feature and Much More!

Engine DJ software has been upgraded to version 2.2.0, introducing better effects and Virtual DJ compatibility to the Numark Mixstream Pro, news features like active loops to all platforms and other significant fixes and enhancements.

Active Loops - Saved Loops are now triggered automatically when the play head reaches the loop zone. To distinguish them from ordinary Saved Loops, Active Loops have a zebra pattern in the loop area bar. Setting an Active Loop on Engine DJ hardware with Parameter buttons is also achievable. To activate an Active Loop, press and hold the left parameter button, then press the Saved Loop pad of your choice.

FX Time Division & Amount UI - The Numark Mixstream Pro DJ controller now has interactive features for FX Time Division and FX Amount on the touchscreen. This new feature enables DJs to modify the onboard effects even further. (Mixstream Pro)

Controller Mode unlocked for Virtual DJ - Switch the Mixstream Pro to Computer Mode and enable Controller Mode for Virtual DJ. This enables you to link it to the newest version of Virtual DJ and use the Mixstream as a controller. (Mixstream Pro)

The User Profile now has an another decreased sensitivity level option called "Min" Nudge Sensitivity for jog wheel nudge sensitivity. When the profile is loaded on any Engine DJ device, the setting is implemented automatically.

Engine DJ Preparation Software (Desktop)

Active Loops - It is now possible to have loops automatically triggered when the play head reaches the loop zone. All eight Saved Loops have the capability of becoming Active Loops. Simply select the Active Loop checkbox within the Saved Loop name and colour palette. Active Loops are distinguished from normal Saved Loops by the presence of a zebra pattern in the loop area bar.

Metronome - Engine DJ now has a built-in metronome to help with beat grid editing. Each time the play head reaches a beat marker, the audible metronome tick will sound. Open the Beat Grid Edit window to activate the Metronome. This panel also allows you to change the Metronome's volume level.
