Based on a vintage bucket brigade delay unit, the Dubstation 2 focuses on two independent delay lines. Each line has its own time setting and a ping-pong mode, that is optional, for intricate, cross-fed stereo echoes. The delay time is modulated via an LFO which extends the responsibility of the plug-in into classic analogue-style pitch modulation. The Reverse and Loop functions allow the user to flip and continually cycle the delay buffer correspondingly. Bucket Brigade devices are known for their characteristic warm distortion, which is through the Input Drive and Saturation knobs. High-cut and low-cut filters are featured to allow broad-strokes frequency shaping and live manipulation of the feedback circuit.
Dubstation 2 is named as a modern classic and is a powerful dual delay tool for music production, sound design and live performances.
