Akai Professional has teamed up with Tracklib and hip-hop legend Erick Sermon, and are proud to announce a Beat Battle, a remix competition that is exclusively for new and existing users of MPC, MPD, and MPK series of production hardware. This remix competition wants you to show off your chopping, screwing, and flipping talents, to create an original beat using the stems Akai are providing. The competition will be judged by Erick Sermon so don’t be afraid to get as creative as you possibly can and produce something special.
To enter this competition, head on over to Akai Professional’s product registration page. Register your product, whether old or new and follow the instructions to receive two master files and a song with all the stems from the Tracklib competition page. Sample, chop, screw, flip, and remix to create an original masterpiece and upload it to Instagram before the 11th of August 2019 using the hashtag #AkaiTracklib, and you’re all set to go!
The champion will win an Erick Sermon signed MPD218 plus Tracklib sample clearance and 100 download credits. 2nd place will win an MPC software and expansions package as well as sample clearance and 50 download credits. 3rd place will win an MPC software and expansions package as well as sample clearance and 25 download credits.
