The high-frequency driver on the BX8 powered speaker is a silk-dome and is waveguide-loaded and is fully isolated from the rest of the enclosure. This ensures minimum distortion and an ultra-smooth frequency response up to 22 kHz. To match the high-frequency driver is the 8” low-frequency driver made purely from woven Kevlar. The superior qualities of Kevlar make it thermal resilient, perfect for hard hitting music and long studio sessions. The curved conical design of the BX8 D2 improves room dispersion. Another unique feature are the high-temperature voice coils, which reduce power compression for greater studio performance.
