HK Audio Lucas 2K 15-Inch Stereo PA Speaker System

The HK Audio Lucas 2K 15” PA speaker system consists of a 15-inch subwoofer alongside two 8-inch satellite speakers and a 2000w Class-D amplifier with an advanced digital signal processor that takes your sound to the next level. This PA speaker system features a compact, intelligent design that ensures you can easily transport the system between gigs making it a perfect speaker system for mobile DJs, schools and colleges, small venues, karaoke, house parties, garden parties, gym classes, conferences, and acoustic sessions.

The Lucas 2K 15-inch subwoofer is fitted with a low-frequency 15-inch woofer that delivers a frequency response that ranges from 44 Hz – 130 Hz. The satellite speakers come equipped with an 8-inch mid-range driver alongside a 1-inch high-frequency tweeter; the satellites work to deliver a frequency response that ranges from 118 Hz – 18 kHz. When combined, all speakers work in perfect harmony to produce a full range sound that is ideal for a wealth of audio applications. A Class-D amplifier works effortlessly to offer 2000w of peak power that ensures you get a massive sound at all times.

An advanced Digital Signal Processor provides you with the ability to apply EQ to your sound allowing you to boost or cut the low and high frequencies according to your application allowing you to get the perfect sound. Active protection circuits work to prevent the system from damage and include an FIR filter alongside a 24dB subsonic filter that kills subsonic frequencies as well as a peak and RMS limiter that prevents loud and overloaded signals from running the speaker system. The subwoofer comes equipped with two combo ¼-inch TRS Jack/XLR inputs alongside two XLR thru outputs for linking multiple speaker systems together.

Each speaker features a heavy-duty MDF enclosure that is highly durable and designed to withstand the rigours of everyday on-stage use. The cabinets have been finished with textured black acrylic enamel that prevents accidental impacts from damaging the integrity of the system while MultiGrip recessed handles ensure you can easily pick up the speakers. Large metal grilles work to protect the drivers from damage and are backed with special acoustic foam that is sonically transparent, so it does not affect your sound.
