Alesis Strike Amp 12 Drum Amplifier (2000 Watts)

The Alesis Strike Amp 12 Drum Amplifier is a specially designed amplifier to enhance and captivate any electronic drum performance mostly thanks to the 2000 watt peak power output, 12-inch woofer and driver technology. The amp features 2000 watts peak power which produces clear, precise and punchy sounds, a specially-created 12-inch woofer, two XLR/TRS ¼ inch combo inputs with independent volume control, a contour EQ switch and a ground-lift switch, all encased in a lightweight cabinet with tilt-back control and pole-mounting options.

2000 Watts of unadulterated power

Your sound will feel clear and punchy no matter where you play, be it rehearsing, playing or recording, thanks to the 2000 watts of bi-amplified power coupled with the high-performance transducers. The 12-inch low-frequency driver contains a 3-inch high-temperature voice coil, which results in a nice kick to the kick drum. The high-frequency compression driver features a 1.4-inch voice coil and a neodymium-magnet with precision waveguide, which results in quality sound reproduction of the snare drum and cymbals.

Sound customisation

If you’re looking to adjust the sound ‘just the way you like it’, then it can be achieved using the on-board EQ control. There is also a ground-lift switch where it removes unwanted noise so you can rest assure your sound will be recreated to its purest form and crystal clarity.

Drum Amplifier connections

There is a dual XLR/TRS ¼-inch combo input, each of which has an independent volume control, along with a clip limiter LED indicator. Additionally, there is an XLR output so you can connect to another Strike Amp 12 or any other device you choose.

Amplifier setup

Due to its lightweight frame and tilt-back cabinet design, it makes the Strike Amp 12 flexible with regards to positioning. It can be placed horizontally (stage monitor style) or vertically, with a 90° horizontal and 60° vertical (nominal) horn coverage. There is also the option for it to be pole mounted.
