sE Electronics have redesigned their V-series to bring you the V Beat Dynamic Drum Microphone. The perfect, versatile solution for recording drums such as snares, toms, or hi-hats. Designed to capture the sonic purity of your drums the V-Beat is small, easy to set up, and features analogue to digital conversion capabilities suitable enough for professional use within a pro-grade studio.

The V Beat Drum Mic features an aluminum voice coil that is lighter than copper, however, still delivers a responsive, clear, and defined sound. Capturing a warm and balanced low-end signature while also giving you an impressive mid-range response to capture and resonant frequencies within the outer body of a drum. The sonic delivery on this microphone is impressive and the easy to use simple XLR connector means you can start capturing the purest quality sound straight away. In addition, the placement of the XLR input is below the main housing so you keep cable visibility to a minimum.
Another impressive feature of the V-Beat is that the internal housing contains a patented capsule suspension which minimizes unwanted shock interference when recording at louder sound pressure levels. This eliminates the need for an external shock mount saving yourself money as well as increasing the portability and setup time. This is something that many drum recording microphones do not feature.
Other impressive functions of this dynamic mic are that this comes with an internal windscreen to protect against any unwanted noises or pickups. However, for peace of mind, you will also receive a black externally mounted windscreen for even more noise protection. Also, the addition of gold plated XLR connectors ensures you are recording are clean, distortion-free signal. sE electronics really have stepped up their game when it comes to the V Series by providing you the one-stop solution for studio quality drum recording.
