The Proel RM8 is a Ribbon microphone which incorporates a double-sided 0.02 mm pure aluminium foil, suitable for a brilliant vocal range. With its sharp acoustic instruments image, it certainly looks the part in any recording/home studio. The mic has a wide low frequency range, a speedy transient response and WIMA capacitors.
The frequency response of the microphone is 20Hz – 20kHz, has a sensitivity of -34 dB +/- 2 dB, max SPL of 130 dB, a S/N ratio of 79 dB, has a figure-8 polar pattern and uses a 3 pin XLR Male connection.
The RM8 package includes the microphone, anti-pop filter, integrated shock-mount support and a durable aluminium carry case.
