The Denon Axis 8 speaker, Axis 12 speaker and Axis 12s subwoofer are the newest additions to the well known Denon DJ renowned for their high output and ability to convey excellent sound quality at the most demanding of times.  The Axis 8 speaker and Axis 12 speaker boast a coaxial design whereby the high frequency compression driver is mounted at the centre of and at the same point as the low frequency driver.  Not only is the definition, clarity and quality of sound improved by this design it also reduces the cabinet height by more than 30% (compared to usual speakers); useful at live performances with the audiences visual sightlines less impaired!  The Axis 12s subwoofer is designed to be used for the most challenging of tasks as it holds a frequency response up to 38Hz and Sound Pressure Level (SPL) over 120dB.  Due to its design of inbuilt handles and 35mm pole-mount inserts, the Axis 12s subwoofer is easily transportable ideal when travelling to and from venues.

Denon Axis 8

The Denon Axis 8 speaker is reliable, lightweight and powerful (2000-watt Class D digital bi-amplification).  Its consistent horizontal and vertical dispersion provides top sound coverage at any venue/location.  The speakers sound is spread in a smooth, continuous time envelope along with long-excursion woofers which carries a low but forceful bass and an elevated sound output.  The speaker also has a Digital Sound Processor (DSP) which controls an internal 5 band equaliser.  With regards to the inputs, the Denon Axis 8 speaker uses an XLR +1/4” (6.35mm) TRS combination input with line/mic selector and XLR+1/4” (6.35mm) TRS combination input or 1 RCA stereo input pair whilst the output is XLR.

Denon Axis 12

The Denon Axis 12 speaker utilises all the features of the Axis 8 with the addition of a heightened low-end frequency response.  As a result this will vastly improve the smoothness and quality of the sound but more importantly the bass!  With regards to the inputs, the Denon Axis 12 speaker uses an XLR +1/4” (6.35mm) TRS combination input with line/mic selector and XLR+1/4” (6.35mm) TRS combination input or 1 RCA stereo input pair whilst the output is XLR.

Denon Axis 12s

The Denon Axis 12s subwoofer produces powerful low-end frequency response using a powerful 2000-watt Class D digital bi-amplifier and 12” heat-treated woofer with 3” voice coil.  For heat protection there is a thermal trigger and convection fan.  To prevent any distortion there is a digital limiter/compressor with a red LED indicator.  With regards to the input, the Denon Axis 12s subwoofer uses a Female XLR Balanced Differential whilst the outputs are Full-range Male XLR Balanced and High Pass Male XLR Balanced.
