Pioneer DJ TORAIZ SP-16 Firmware update and TORAIZ AS-1 Plugin news update

Pioneer has released information on new, improved and fixes to various features of the TORAIZ SP-16 in firmware v1.40 update.

The new features include a copy and paste feature in ‘Sequence’ and ‘Track’, swap in ‘Track’, dynamic sequence recordings in ‘Undo’ and remove all triggers from a ‘Track’.

The features that have been improved are an improved response time when turning pots quickly, Dave Smith filter settings can be saved per SCENE, the maximum sample length has been extended to 64 seconds and the response has significantly been improved when pressing the Back button on the Browse screen.

There were a number of issues reported by users regarding the SP-16 that have now been fixed. These include the bar that displayed the current playback position was not appearing when previewing a sample on the ‘Sampling Edit’ screen, playback completely muted when a ‘Track’ was muted in the same ‘Choke’ group and the names of folders to store projects, samples and scene files have been changed.
