Traktor Kontrol S8 Features

The NI Traktor S8 is a 4-channel all-in-one DJ system which includes the capability of being a standalone mixer, DJ controller, decks and audio interface in one.  The unit comprises of 2 high-resolution colour displays, touch control knobs, faders and LED touch strips, 16 colour-coded performance pads, highly responsive Remix Deck controls, and a separate Traktor Mode button which switches the unit between Traktor and stand-alone mode.

The components in the S8 are covered in a robust casing and the inversed carbon strips allow for excitable, rigorous and repetitive use and debris, extending the fader life.  The Traktor DJ system produces 24-bit/48kHz of audio output and is MIDI compatible, which enables external devices to be connected flawlessly.

Traktor Pro 2.11 software

The new Ableton Link connectivity allows two or more sound applications or units to be seamlessly synced over a Wi-Fi, LAN or Ethernet cable connection.  The step sequencer is remix decks based and can produce polyrhythmic sounds.  Each individual sound can be sequenced and there can be more than 8 in the sequence!  The HID mode allows you to have full control over Traktor and complete access to the library.  Overall, the software provides absolute control of your sounds, modifiable interface, up to four software decks, superior track library management and timecode media.
