The Mackie MDB-1P is a passive Direct Injection box that allows you to amplify signals from almost any input whether it be a bass guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboard or even a laptop, this DI box gives you peace of mind knowing your sound will reach your audience that same way you hear it on stage. This passive DI box makes a brilliant addition to any sound engineer’s arsenal and is designed for everyday on-stage/studio use.
The MDB-1P comes with premium analogue circuitry which works to offer an excellent noise performance and sonic transparency, so you know your audio will always sound natural and pristine. This DI box includes a high-impedance ¼-inch Jack input with a Thru output as well as a balanced male XLR output connection with a ground lift switch and a -15dB attenuation pad that ensures distortion and noise-free performance when connecting to high-output audio sources. The MDB-1P features a ‘built-like-a-tank’ enclosure which is designed for everyday on-stage/studio use and makes use of a thick, super-robust steel chassis with impact resistant corners and long-wearing Jack connectors.
