Denon SC5000M Prime Professional DJ Media Player

The Denon DJ SC5000M is the latest media player to be added to the Prime series and features a fresh new motorised platter provides you with a genuine vinyl experience with all the benefits of digital DJ systems. This new media player inherits the same interface and hardware from its multi-tech award-winning counterpart, the SC5000, but features a brand new true-vinyl platter that perfectly replicates the feel of turntablism.

The SC5000M comes equipped with a high-resolution die-cast aluminium platter and a real 7-inch vinyl with an adjustable vinyl tension control which enables you to get the perfect feel for your performances and offers 3600 ticks per 360-degree rotation for the best accuracy possible. The platter spins thanks to the addition of a brushless DC electric motor and gives you high-torque and low-torque settings for a genuine feeling mechanical spin right under your fingertips which ideal for scratch and performance DJs that are looking to experience turntablism without any of the drawbacks of vinyl systems.

Thanks to the latest firmware update, The SC5000M now features Serato DJ Pro integration. Enable computer mode on the SC5000M to connect Serato DJ Pro on a laptop. See the video below for more information.

A 7-inch multi-touch, multi-gesture high-definition screen gives you the ability to quickly navigate through your digital music collection and load tracks and also provides you with track waveforms and essential track data such as BPM, key, pitch range, time remaining and elapsed, beat grid information, and DJ performance parameters like hot cues, loops, and a slicer grid. Driving the player from the inside is the proprietary Engine Prime software which offers onboard track analysis without the need for a computer and gives you the ability to import your Rekordbox, Traktor, and Serato DJ tracks and playlists with all hot cues and loop information readily available.

The SC5000M comes with multi-layer capabilities providing you with two individual media players in one single unit, this enables you to beat-match and mix from a single SC5000M using two independent audio outputs, this also means you get a four deck setup when using only two players; this versatile feature gives you a wealth of creative mixing options and offers a limitless DJ experience. Inherited from its counterpart, the SC5000, is a wealth of creative performance-based mixing controls such as eight expressive performance pads that enable you to access hot cues, loops, slip rolls, and a beat slicer as well as a class-leading time-stretching algorithm which provides you with controlled and key-locked tempo changes even when dramatically altering a track’s BPM.

Three USB ports and an SD card input mean you can input audio from up to four separate digital devices and fully supports playback of compressed and uncompressed audio formats such as MP3, FLAC, ALAC, and WAV. Thanks to a high-quality soundcard you get pristine 24-bit/96kHz audio that perfectly reproduces the original sound source for the cleanest sound possible. A LAN output allows you to link together up to four SC5000M players simultaneously so you can share your digital music collection between all four players.
