The intuitive software allows you to mix, blend and scratch your tracks at the touch of a record or platter. Manipulate your records with eight saveable cue points and loops or lock your tracks in time via the easy-to-use Sync options. Seamless integration with iTunes, Pulselocker and Serato’s own music storage system means that your digital music collection is always kept organised and accessible. Serato software also analyses your music to detect BPM and Key information, once a track has been analysed this information is available to you in Serato’s browsing screen allowing you to see what tracks will mix together well before you load them into a deck. The history panel in the browsing screen lets you save your best combination of tracks as well as export playlists for your followers.

Serato also features coloured waveforms, allowing you to visualise your songs with unique EQ coloured waveforms, red for bass frequencies, blue for treble and green for mid-range. This means you will never miss a vocal or bass drop and the simple beat matching display next to the waveforms helps you keep your tracks in sync with each other. Other powerful features include full DVS technology support for vinyl and CDs, a recorder and sampler so you can record your sets in high-quality and trigger loops or acapellas or even whole tracks from the Serato sampler plus full MIDI support for ready-mapped official devices as well as a huge array of customisable DJ FX such as filters, echoes and delays.

New features to Serato V1.9.6 include:
