The Reloop Terminal Mix 8 is a four deck, pad based DJ performance controller that is designed to be used with the Serato DJ software. This performance controller has designed and created in close co-operation with Serato themselves. The controller responds to the all the requirements for professional club DJ, who need a controller that can give them spectacular live performances with the creative effect manipulation to give a whole range of possibilities. This controller has been endorsed with the same premium features and build that has made the Terminal Mix controllers recognisable around the world but expands on the previous controllers with the brand new performance section with touch sensitive, multicolour drum pads.

Multi coloured Intuitive pad performance section

One of the main features is the Terminal Mix 8 is the clearly laid out, intuitive PAD performance section that has 16 touch sensitive RGB drum pads that can be used to trigger cue point, samples, loops and a slicer effect.

Re-arrangements on the fly

The loop and slice modes allow you to perform creative re-arrangements on the fly. When the slice mode is activated, the playing track will be sliced into eight equal parts that will be distributed across the 16 drum pads, giving you quick access to on the fly music mash-ups. When loop mode is activated, you will be able to store and trigger up to eight loops with a variety of lengths. The loop length can be set in real time using the loop size encoder to get quick auto loops and also to get loop roll effects.

SP-6 Serato Sampler

Another feature of this controller is that all banks of the Serato DJ SP-6 sampler can be accessed and triggered, as well as up to eight cue points can be stored and triggered all in real time.

Colour coded Pads

The intuitive pads on the terminal mix 8 are all colour coded to give you visual feedback regarding status and selected performance mode, so even when in a dark club or venue, allowing you to distinguish which mode you are using. While in Dual mode, two performance modes can be combined to give you the tools to create an even more advanced show. By activated this performance mode, the upper row of the drum pads can be set for one performance mode, and a different performance mode on the bottom row. This fantastic feature means that you can access the Serato DJ SP-6 sampler with the top row, and use the lower row to access loops at the same time, opening a whole new range of performance possibility.

Effect Section

The extensive effect section gives you three rotary knobs, an endless encoder and four buttons, to make it very easy and intuitive to control the whole range of Serato DJs iZotope- powered effects.

Pro DJ Traditional Workflow

This DJ performance controller has a clear, structured, intuitive, ergonomic player/mixer layout that has been specially designed to suit the professional DJs traditional workflow, as well as implementing new improvements on previous Terminal Mix models. It has large, rubberised filter knobs on every channel to give you smooth filter sweeps. Hard cuts and smooth fades can be effectively achieved when using the club standard, high-quality faders, including the adjustable crossfader assign and curve buttons on the front of this unit.

Large High-Quality Jog Wheels

This unit has the same XXL high-quality jog wheels from the scratch friendly Terminal Mix 4 Controller. They have a 15.5cm diameter with an anti-skidding vinyl surface jogs which feature alongside the high-resolution 14-bit, 100mm pitch faders, allowing you to achieve precise beat matching and playback control.

Professional Powerhouse Interface

The built-in audio interface one the unit's rear panel offers sufficient connections to allow you to connect to any PA, Home or club setup. When using the gain mixing, it is possible to adjust the volume of each track. Also, the level metre is selectable for a channel as well as the master output. There is also a microphone connection with a one-band EQ and an auxiliary input that has flexible routeing switch which gives you the option to add external sound sources which can be routed through the controller.
