RCF SUB 8003-AS II 18-inch Active Subwoofer

The RCF SUB 8003-AS II is a 2200w active subwoofer that is equipped with an 18-inch woofer, a powerful DSP and a digital amplifier that gives you an incredibly high output with amazingly low distortion and a super-clear, natural sound. The 8003-AS II is perfect for any 12/15-inch satellite speaker setup and works best alongside RCF Art 7, D-Line or 4PRO speakers.

The 8003-AS II features a built-in digital signal processor that comes with a selection of presets so the subwoofer can adapt to the speakers you integrated it in to. Found on the rear is an innovative input patch bay that provides you with stereo XLR inputs alongside an XLR link-crossover with a switchable crossover frequency of 80Hz or 120Hz. The highly efficient 2200w amplifier features a rugged aluminium, mechanical structure that dissipates heat without a fan and stabilizes itself while in transit.

With the 8003-AS II, you get an input sensitivity encoder so you can set the input signal level to a volume that suits the situation, the amount ranges from +0dB gain reduction all the way to +99dB of gain reduction. A XOVER section gives you a broad range of 24dB/octave low and high pass filter options which allows you to get the perfect sound for your system.

This subwoofer has been crafted from super-robust birch plywood which is then coated with a heavy-duty textured epoxy while the cabinet features a bass-reflex design that creates an incredibly high SPL yet also works to reduce distortion.
