Introducing the Akai MPC Live Standalone Music Production Center, the small but mighty MIDI controller that features numerous ways to make sure you stay creative for longer, whether that is in the studio or on stage.
The MPC Live features a 7" multi-touch screen, four touch-sensitive Q-Link controls, a push-down master encoder button, as well as 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads. All these controls are housed in the beautiful slim black chassis that is guaranteed to look great in any studio or live setup.
Akai's MPC Live weighs in at less than 6lbs and brings about the next generation of super-portable music production. Featuring 16 gigs of onboard memory and is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery making this ideal for live performance. Files can be transferred to the on-board memory or accessed via the built-in SD card slot and/or USB hub. The MPC Live comes with a 2.5" SATA drive connector which provides more external storage via an SSD or HDD drive.
Computer Integration or Standalone
Akai's MPC Live is powered by MPC 2.0 Software which runs with the controller either in standalone mode or as external VST inside a Digital Audio Workstation. The software features capabilities such as audio track recording, intelligent Q-Link control, MIDI and audio drag and drop all within a stunning user interface.
Superior Sound Quality
The MPC Live comes with 10GBs of pre-installed sounds from world-class sound design companies including kits made specially by Akai themselves. You can twist and create sounds from already sonically advance sounds and push them even further. Future updates will allow the MPC to be integrated into Ableton Live.
