M-Audio has reignited their “Buy A Code, Get A Code” offer, valid from 1st May 2017 to 31st July 2017, for every CODE Series Black MIDI controller user. For a limited time, a free download of AIR Music Tech’s fantastic DB-33, Mini Grand and Velvet plug-ins, will be available to both new and existing customers. If you are new to the Code series here is a quick overview of each keyboard controller to highlight their features.
M-Audio Code Series MIDI Keyboard Controllers
M-Audio has two black controllers within their CODE Series; the first being Code 49 and the other Code 61. Aside from the number of durable, full-sized, velocity sensitive keys with aftertouch, both units are extremely sturdy and quality built and crammed with features that will be at the forefront of your music production setup.
Each of the keyboards has sixteen velocity-sensitive trigger pads, eight assignable 360⁰ encoders, nine buttons which can be modified to control hotkeys and MIDI messages, nine 30mm faders, 55mm x 55mm XY pad (touch sensitive) for pure HID control and four zones which can be adjusted to allow for splits and layering.
Each Code controller comes with an 85mm by 25mm LCD that provides instant feedback along with Mackie/HUI transport control. The keyboards are USB bus powered, have one 5-pin MIDI in, and one 5-pin MIDI out connection, a ¼-inch (6.35mm) TRS volume and ¼-inch (6.35mm) TS sustain pedal input to provide even more control.
The Code Series Keyboards are good value for money and even come with a copy of Ableton Live Lite software, along with Loom and Hybrid 3.0 plug-ins by AIR Music Technology.
