Traktor Pro 2.11 software update with Ableton Link and Step Sequencer!

Native Instruments have released a software update in the form of TRAKTOR PRO 2.11.  This latest update will bring you new features and connectivity, for even more club-ready and studio flexibility, with Traktor software!

Ableton Link Connectivity

Traktor Pro 2.11 allows for Ableton Link Integration, where two or more music applications or devices can be synced together over a LAN, Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable connection.  This new feature provides a seamless link that ensures the music is in perfect co-ordination.

Step Sequencer

The latest Traktor update includes a new step sequencer feature based upon the remix decks.  The individual sounds are able to be sequenced and are designed to run on top of the remix decks, and there is the ability to sequence more than 8!  You are able to create polyrhythmic sounds and there are additional dials to select and modify the sample, high pass/low pass, pitch and FX.  Step sequencer can be used with Traktor Kontrol S8, D2 or F1, and it can be mapped to any MIDI compatible hardware.

Step Sequencer

A FREE remix set of percussion and one-shot drum sounds, which have been designed specifically for the new step sequencer, are now available from the Native Instruments website.

Other features

Traktor Pro 2.11 software update now supports Pioneer’s CDJ-2000NXS2 and the advance HID mode.  This enables you to have direct control over Traktor and have full access to the library including the artwork.  Full track information is displayed on the screen including the track length, waveform and BPM. The connection is made via USB cables.

Other features

Another feature worth mentioning is that the Pioneer’s DJM-900NXS2 mixer is now scratch certified.  This means it now has the ability to play timecode vinyl without having to set up another audio card.

To add to this, the Allen & Heath PX5 mixer is now also scratch certified.

Traktor Pro 2.11 software update is now available for download from the Native Instruments Service Centre or from the Native Instruments Website under the Service Updates page.
